Hole:

6

Description:

The first par 5 of the course comes with a dog-leg left.  The tee shot is important.  The shot starts uphill and lands downhill making it a blind shot.  However the trees in the distance frame the shot nicely.  After the dog-leg your second and third shots are to a large green with bunkers right and left.  There is room to run a shot short on to the green.  trees line the entire hole making your tee shot and layup position important.  Green is fairly flat with many subtle breaks that make it harder to read.  The back of the green does have a small "backstop" for shots coming from the fairway.

Pro's Advice:

Longer players can reach this green in two but they also bring going through the fairway off the tee into play. Tee shots must be in the fairway to go at the green, and even to layup to a good distance. The fairway opens up after the tee shot so play to your comfortable yardage and get your approach close. The green can be tough to read with some pin placements. You can be agressive here if you stay in the fairway.
